Ronaldo confident ahead of Sevilla showdown

(GSM) – Second – placed Real Madrid faces a pivotal match against Sevilla this weekend, and Cristiano Ronaldo is confident that Los Merengues will succeed.

Real have won every game in front of their own fans, conceding only eight times and racking up an intimidating 41 goals.

Fourth-place Sevilla have fallen 18 points off leaders Barcelona after looking like a title contender early in the season.

Real Madrid striker Ronaldo said, “It is going to be a very difficult game, but we are playing in the Bernabeu, and we have to win if we want to win the league.”

He continued, “They are one of the strongest teams. I could not play against them earlier in the season.”

He was confident and ready to take on Sevilla, “But I am ready for this one.”

He hoped he would continue his tremendous form, “I am in good form, and I expect to continue like this until the World Cup.”

Real Madrid are currently two points behind Barcelona.
