Spanish daily newspaper AS has suggested that Portuguese superstar Cristiano Ronaldo has decided to leave Real Madrid for greener pastures.
The forward’s relationship with chairman Florentino Perez has been poor for a couple of years now, and it appears it has now reached a breaking point.
Ronaldo has been disappointed by the club’s failure to offer him a new and improved deal as well as the lack of marquee signings and he has decided to leave.
According to AS, the 32-year-old is eager to return to Old Trafford, but he may also join PSG if Real Madrid decide to pursue their interest in Neymar.
Following 8 impressive years at Santiago Bernabeu, Cristiano Ronaldo has struggled for form this season, scoring mere 4 goals in 14 league outings, and his lengthy spell in Madrid may be drawing to a close.
