Ronaldo hails ‘master’ Fergie

Manchester United winger Cristiano Ronaldo has heaped praise on his boss at Old Trafford.

Ronaldo says he has become a winger under Sir Alex Ferguson at Manchester United.

“Ferguson is the master. The master” the forward told France Football. “I am a great professional today, thanks to him. It was him who took me from Sporting to Manchester.

“His record speaks for itself. But most of all, it’s his personality. I love working with him. I have told him all he needs to know about my private life.

“He believes me when I tell him something and the same goes for me. At Manchester my concentration has improved. I’ve become a winner.

“And it was here, with Alex Ferguson that I began to believe I could win the Ballon d’Or.”
