The Cristiano Ronaldo transfer saga continues to reach new levels of ridicule. In today’s press, Inter join the race, Ronaldo will request a transfer from United and Robinho will be offered in exchange.
Football Italia has reported that the Italian press tips Jose Mourinho’s Inter to join Real Madrid in their ambitious pursuit of Cristiano Ronaldo. According to the football website, Mourinho and Ronaldo share the same agent and that could be a definite advantage for the Portuguese manager who could theoretically hold talks with Ronaldo behind Manchester United’s back. However, should Inter join the race for the Portuguese winger, Football Italia think they are unlikely to pose any serious threat to Real Madrid’s bid.
Meanwhile, in England, The Times reports that Ronaldo will request a transfer move from the club. According to the newspaper, the Manchester United winger has told friends that he would do anything in his powers to seal a move to Real Madrid. Manchester United fans are unlikely to take kindly to this kind of news.
And, finally, to agree a transfer fee with Real Madrid for Ronaldo, Real Madrid is willing to include Robinho as part of any deal. Goal.com reckons that the Brazilian striker is unhappy with his salary at Santiago Bernabeu and Real Madrid seeks to cure his distress by giving him away to a club which is willing to offer him enough money.
That is the latest from the Ronaldo saga which seems to fill more and more newspaper inches every morning.
