Cristiano Ronaldo seems to have dealt Manchester United a blow in the transfer market by insisting he plans to see out his contract at Real Madrid until 2015, that’s according to Talk Sport.
The Portuguese had been linked with a shock move back to the English Premier League leaders after a number of reports suggested that he was unhappy with the La Liga champions.
That doesn’t seem to be the case though and the man regarded as one of the best players in the world is likely to spend many more years in the Spanish capital.
Ronaldo will always have a love for United of course, but it is now thought that a move back to Old Trafford is very unlikely.
In truth, even if the Red Devils did want to secure his services, they would have struggled as he is going to cost a lot of money.
It might have been more of a dream for United fans rather than a reality and all Ronaldo seems to be focusing on is having a successful season with Real and winning the Champions League.
They are struggling in La Liga, but look very strong in Europe and of course, the Portugal captain goes up against Manchester United in the last 16 of the competition.
