Ronaldo refuses to rule out Real Madrid exit

The Metro understands that Cristiano Ronaldo has refused to rule out leaving Real Madrid, amid continuing reports linking him with a return to Manchester United.

The thirty year old, who scored his five hundredth career goal in his sides Champions League win over Malmo on Wednesday evening faces an uncertain future, with French champions Paris Saint Germain also eyeing a move to secure his services.

His double midweek took him to ten in all competitions so far this season, while his five in La Liga is the joint top tally in the division alongside teammate Karim Benzama and Celta Vigo forward Nolito.

Ronaldo has finished the last two seasons as the top scorer in Spain’s top flight and can be backed at 2/7 to do so this time around.

The last player to win the Pichichi trophy three times in a row was Real legend Hugo Sanchez, who actually collected the award four times in succession in the 1980s.
