Cristiano Ronaldo has distanced himself from a return to Old Trafford after admitting that he would like to extend his contract at Real Madrid, according to the Mail Online.
The 29 year old has been regularly linked with a move back to Manchester in recent seasons, but now looks set to remain in the Spanish capital.
Since moving to Madrid, the Portugal international has scored two hundred and seventy-four goals in just two hundred and sixty-two games, while in terms of honours, he has lifted the La Liga title, the Copa del Rey twice and the Champions League.
He has also collected a number of individual prizes, and is favourite to retain the Ballon D’Or ahead of Barcelona’s Lionel Messi.
This season, Ronaldo has already scored twenty-two goals to help his side to the top of La Liga and to qualify from their Champions League group with two games to spare.
