Cristiano Ronaldo is set to demand from his employers that he be allowed to move to Madrid, but Manchester United are set to reject the player’s request. Instead, they will allow him to move next year, according to a report in The Sun.
Manchester United are desperate to hold on to one of their higher valued assets and could, according to the report, promise Ronaldo that they will let him move next summer.
The two clubs will apparently agree on a transfer fee this summer to avoid any further complications. Ronaldo will then complete his dream move next summer for a world record transfer fee rumoured to be around £65 million.
In other Cristiano Ronaldo news, the player is ready to return to Manchester today after spending the last two months globetrotting and recovering from his ankle surgery.
