Ronaldo to stay at Man United?

According to a recent report from Daily Telegraph, Cristiano Ronaldo is set to stay at Manchester United next season.

The report indicates that even if United don’t secure Champions League football, which they can now only do via a top four finish, Ronaldo is going to remain at Old Trafford.

Some had questioned whether his comeback to English football would only last one season, especially given how up and down United have been since he arrived.

Alas, those fears have been put to one side if this report is to be believed, with the veteran potentially indicating with this decision that he wants to retire in Manchester.

A lot of fans had been calling for his head after a collection of poor performances. However, after his hat-trick against Tottenham, a lot of those concerns have been forgotten in favour of remembering the good times he’s brought to the club during his second stint.
