After a long quiet period, the rumours surrounding the future of Cristiano Ronaldo have resurfaced. However, these recent developments seem to hint that Cristiano Ronaldo would stay at Manchester United for the time being.
Earlier this month Real Madrid defender, Fabio Cannavaro, said that Ronaldo should honour his contract with Manchester United. Now, another Real Madrid player has spoken out against the arrival of the Portuguese superstar.
According to The Guardian, Wesley Sneijder said that the arrival of Cristiano Ronaldo might upset the dressing room at Real Madrid due to the extravagant wages which the player would earn.
“It would be bad for the dressing room if he gets a much higher salary than the rest of the squad. It’s not important to me but I know other team-mates would not like that at all.” Said Sneijder according to that report.
Meanwhile The Telegraph has reported that the Glazers have rubbished the Marca reports which claimed that they were now prepared to negotiate with Real Madrid.
