Ronaldo wants James at Juve

Cristiano Ronaldo apparently wants James Rodriguez to join him at Juventus in the summer. The Portuguese superstar has called the Colombian playmaker and talked to him about moving to Turin, according to Marca.

James is nearing the end of his two-year loan spell with Bayern Munich, and coach Niko Kovač, with whom the midfielder has had issues in the past, has warned him that his performances in the upcoming period would affect the club’s decision on whether to exercise the option to make the deal permanent. If they chose not to do so, Real would likely seek to part ways with him permanently, and links with clubs around Europe have been popping up left right and centre.

Paris Saint-Germain, Liverpool and Arsenal have been among the sides credited with interest, but Ronaldo is doing what he can to persuade his former teammate to play by his side once again.
