Rony Lopes set for new Monaco deal

Portuguese midfielder Rony Lopes will soon be offered a new and improved deal at Stade Louis II, according to Radio Monte Carlo.

The 22-year-old returned to the club last summer following a successful loan stint with Lille and he has since been in excellent form.

Rony Lopes went on to score 12 goals in 32 league matches, catching the eye of quite a few top clubs in the process.

But, with midfielders Fabinho and Thomas Lemar almost certain to leave in the summer, Monaco are eager to keep hold of the Portuguese footballer.

As a result, they will offer him a new contract in the coming weeks and at the same time inform interested clubs he is not for sale.

Monaco have been in scintillating form of late, winning seven of last nine league fixtures and they can be backed at 9/1 to see off league leaders PSG on the road.
