Arsenal midfielder Tomas Rosicky has encouraged his manager to make a move for Chelsea goalkeeper Petr Cech, according to the Mirror.
The 33 year old shot-stopper has been linked with a move to the Emirates Stadium ever since he announced that he was on the lookout for a new club, and now his international teammate has weighed into the discussion.
Rosicky, who is set to begin his tenth season under Arsene Wenger in August, has one hundred caps for the Czech Rebublic, with only Cech and former Manchester United midfielder Karel Poborsky ahead of him in the list of all-time appearances for his country.
Since moving to Stamford Bridge in 2004, Cech has racked up four hundred and eighty-five appearances for the Blues in all competitions, and has won a number of major trophies including four league titles, four FA Cups, three League Cups, the Europa League and the Champions League.
