Everton youngster Ross Barkley has penned a new long-term deal with the Toffees, the club have announced on their official website.
The player, who just turned 18 few weeks back, signed a new deal until June 2016 at Goodison Park.
The highly rated midfielder has already made his mark on the English Premier League and was recently linked with a move to Old Trafford.
“We are pleased but obviously not at all surprised that Ross has agreed his first long term contract with the club,” Everton president Bill Kenwright said.
“Ross has recently talked of his commitment to Everton and his growth under the very special guidance of David Moyes, his staff and indeed our senior players. That combination of expertise can only be of benefit to any young footballer.”
The talented footballer already made seven Premiership appearances this term and is regarded as one of the best prospects in England.
