Talk Sport are today reporting that Giuseppe Rossi could still make a move to the English Premier League after his agent said that he has not ruled out a move to England.
Rossi is currently sidelined until 2013 after suffering a cruciate knee ligament injury that saw him miss the European Championships.
Tottenham Hotspur have been keeping tabs on the Italian international for some time now and could look to bring the Villarreal striker to White Hart Lane in the January transfer window.
However, Spurs are set to face a battle with Serie A side Roma, who also want to bring the forward to their club.
The 25-year-old would of course need to get back to full fitness, which could take a while given the amount of time he has been out for.
With that in mind, both Tottenham and Roma may wait until next summer before making a move for Rossi.
Villarreal are sure to do all they can to keep one of their star men at the club, but if a big offer comes in it may be too much for them to turn down.
The story could really come to life in the New Year – keep an eye out!
