The agent of Villarreal striker Giuseppe Rossi has confirmed that Juventus are on the verge of signing his client.
The Bianconeri turned towards the Villarreal striker after they failed to sign Kun Aguero and they are now determined to close the deal as soon as possible.
“Juventus and Villarreal are talking and that is absolutely a positive sign,” agent Federico Pastorello told Radio Mana Mana.
“We hope things can be concluded quickly, but it’s probably wise to not say too much right now.
“It’s clear that we are talking about an important player, but Juventus are pressing hard for Rossi and he’d be happy with such a possibility.
“We’ll just wait and hope.”
The latest reports suggest that Juventus have offered €25 million for the Italy international, whereas Villarreal are holding out for €30 million.
