Liverpool completely dominated the game against arch-rivals Manchester United at Anfield on Sunday, and still failed to get a win. Speaking after the match, Reds captain Virgil van Dijk said that there was only one team that played this game to win, and that the visitors were “buzzing” about the point they took.
United legend Roy Keane took exception to the Dutch centre-back’s words and labeled them as arrogance, while former Liverpool striker Daniel Sturridge took a more reasonable approach and defended his ex teammate.
