Rozehnal moves to Hamburg from Lazio

Czech Republic defender David Rozehnal has signed a three year contract with Bundesliga outfit Hamburg from Serie A side Lazio.

The former PSG and Newcastle United player has contract extension clause included, meaning the possibility of a fourth year based on appearances, his agent Pavel Zika said Wednesday.

While, financial details were not divulged but the Italian club have reportedly received €8m for the central defender.

The 29-year-old had completed a permanent move to Lazio from Newcastle in June last year after spending the second half of the season on loan in Rome.

Rozehnal, who has also played for Clube Brugge in Belgium, has been capped 56 times for the Czech Republic.
