Russian newspaper Izvestia is reporting that Rubin Kazan are readying a bid for Fenerbahce striker Moussa Sow.

The Tatarstan club had made PSV Eindhoven’s Tim Matavz their number one target to replace Jose Salomon Rondon, but the deal for the Slovenian attacker surprisingly fell through.

As a result, Rubin have turned their attention to Fenerbahce forward Moussa Sow, and are prepared to offer around €10 million for the Senegalese.

However, prizing the 28-year-old from Sukru Saracoglu is likely to prove a difficult task given that the Turkish giants see him as a very important member of the squad.

Moussa Sow joined Fenerbahce in a shock move from Lille some two years ago and he has largely impressed at the start of his career at the club.

The Senegal international went on to score 31 goals in 61 league appearances for the Canaries. Meanwhile, he has bagged 10 goals in 24 caps for the Lions of Teranga.
