Rubin Kazan defender Salvatore Bocchetti admits he would be interested in a move to Juventus.
The 25-year-old has been on Juve’s radar for quite a while now and the Bianconeri are tipped to make a move this summer.
Given that he has just one year left on his deal with the Russian Premier League club, this would be a perfect opportunity for Juventus to try and get their man.
Even the player himself confesses that he is hoping to join the reigning Serie A champions.
“Hearing that Juventus are again interested in me makes me very happy,” the defender told Tuttosport. “It’s not the first time, but maybe this time…
“Juventus would clearly be an excellent opportunity for my career and my agent is keeping me informed on everything.”
The Old Lady are likely to try and sign Bocchetti if centre-back Leonardo Bonucci receives a ban for his involvement in the match-fixing scandal.
Bocchetti already has some Serie A experience, having spent two seasons at Genoa before making a €9.5 million move to Rubin Kazan.
The player has enjoyed a great start to his career in Russia, scoring 7 goals in 39 league games.
