According to a recent report from Marca, Antonio Rudiger has chosen Real Madrid as his preferred next club if he leaves Chelsea next year.
It’s no secret that Rudiger has been edging towards the possibility of leaving the Blues for some time now and it appears as if that idea is being talked about more and more with each passing day. While Chelsea are still largely viewed as one of the most exciting clubs in world football it doesn’t seem as if that’s going to matter a whole lot within the grand scheme of his future.
The 28-year-old German is likely to receive offers from a parade of different clubs but Real Madrid, and the grandeur that comes with playing for such a team, is beginning to dominate the conversation.
Thomas Tuchel will likely want to keep him on the books but if the right offer comes in it’d be somewhat foolish for them to say no.
