As reported by Sky Sports, the representatives of Antonio Rudiger have entered discussions with Real Madrid, Paris Saint-Germain, Bayern Munich and Juventus over a potential free transfer for the defender when his contract with Chelsea expires in the summer.
Rudiger spoke on the subject of his future several times over the last few months, always insisting there were no talks with any club apart from Chelsea. However, with the turn of the year came freedom to talk to clubs outside of England with Chelsea unable to do anything about it, and it seems the player and his representatives took the chance straight away.
All four clubs mentioned are in need of a reliable central defender, which is what the 29-year-old Germany international certainly is. All Chelsea and Thomas Tuchel can hope for at this point is that the situation won’t affect his performances over the remaining part of the season. They certainly need him to be focused, with all four trophies still to play for.
