Russia staged a stunning comeback to beat Switzerland 6-4 in the final of the Euro Beach Soccer League on Sunday.

Switzerland led 4-1 in Moscow before Russia staged a remarkable recovery, with a double from Dmitry Shishin giving them their second title.

A hat-trick from tournament Most Valuable Player Dejan Stankovic had helped Switzerland to a three-goal lead, before Russia began their comeback.

Shishin’s goals in the 33rd and 35th minutes saw them claim their second title after the 2009 success.

Meanwhile, Spain were relegated from Division A after suffering a 5-0 loss to Italy.
