Russian newspaper Izvestia is reporting that a host of Russia’s top clubs are lining up moves for Dnipro star Yevhen Konoplyanka.

The 24-year-old has become one of the most sought-after players in European football following some scintillating showings for club and country.

And while top European clubs are casting admiring glances his way, it appears the midfielder will be moving to neighbouring Russia.

According to Izvestia, Dynamo Moscow, Spartak Moscow and Zenit are all in the race for Konoplyanka’s signature.

The Ukraine international will not be coming on the cheap given that he has a long-term contract with Dnipro, but chances are he will be sold either in January or in the summer.

Yevhen Konoplyanka has spent his entire career at Dnipro, making a total of 125 league appearances for the club and scoring 25 goals.

He is also regarded a key member of the national team and has so far bagged 10 goals in 45 Ukraine caps.
