Russian newspaper Izvestia has learned that CSKA Moscow and Spartak Moscow are readying summer bids for Hajduk Split midfielder Mario Pasalic.
The 19-year-old is already on the radar of clubs from England, Italy and Germany, with Chelsea reportedly leading the chase for his signature.
Nevertheless, Izvestia has suggested that Russian giants CSKA Moscow and Spartak Moscow have joined the race as well.
And while the player should be available for mere €3 million, the Russian sides are willing to pay more in order to pip Chelsea in the race for his services.
Mario Pasalic has been in scintillating form this season, having managed 11 goals and 5 assists in 28 league matches for Hajduk Split.
CSKA Moscow sit two points adrift of Russian Premier League leaders Zenit St Petersburg ahead of the final two fixtures of the league campaign and they are available at 9/2 to lift the coveted title.
