Russian daily newspaper Izvestia has learned that a number of Russian Premier League sides are showing interest in FC Basel forward Breel Donald Embolo.
The likes of Spartak, CSKA and Lokomotiv are all hot on the trail of the 17-year-old striker and are widely expected to step up their interest in the near future.
Embolo has a long list of suitors among Europe’s top clubs that also include Chelsea, Arsenal, Wolfsburg, Borussia Dortmund, Juventus and Udinese.
The talented forward has spent his entire career in Switzerland, playing for Nordstern and Old Boys before joining FC Basel in 2010.
He has already made 14 league appearances for the Swiss giants, scoring 2 goals in the process, starting 5 league matches this season.
Likened to Mario Balotelli for his style of play, Embolo is predicted a bright future in the game and it is only a matter of time before he leaves Basel for greener pastures.
