Venezuela and Argentina held each other to a 1-1 draw in a match where most of the action actually took place in the final ten minutes.

Hosts venezuela took the lead thanks to a goal from Salomon Rondon in the 80th minute but the home crowd was silenced by a last-minute equaliser from Boca Juniors winger Ezequiel Benavidez.

Venezuela are now in fourth place, which would technically grant access to the Under-21 World Cup which is to be played in Egypt this July. The hosts face Uruguay in their last match on Sunday.

Argentina are in serious trouble, as they are currently in last place with only two points from four games. The Albi-celeste play against fifth-placed Colombia on Sunday.
