Arsenal full back Bacary Sagna has rejected an offer from Paris Saint-Germain, L’Equipe has revealed on Sunday.
The France international has revealed he will be leaving the Gunners when his contract expires later this month, but he has yet to disclose his next destination.
And L’Equipe understands that Sagna has rejected an approach from Paris Saint-Germain as he reportedly wants to join Manchester City.
The Citizens look set to stay without Micah Richards and they want the experienced defender to provide competition for Pablo Zabaleta on the right flank.
Bacary Sagna has decided to leave Arsenal after spending last seven years in North London as he could not reach an agreement over a contract extension.
Despite the heavy interest from French giants Paris Saint-Germain and Monaco, the 31-year-old appears set to remain in English Premier League, with his move to Manchester City expected to be finalised in the coming weeks.
