Manchester City defender Bacary Sagna is considering a summer exit, according to the Daily Mirror.
The Frenchman only joined the Citizens last summer as he arrived on a free transfer from Arsenal, but he has been frustrated by the lack of first team opportunities.
With Pablo Zabaleta an undisputed starter on the right flank, the 32-year-old has only made eight Premier League appearances this season.
And with his status at the club unlikely to improve any time soon, Sagna is reportedly considering his options.
The Daily Mirror has learned that AS Roma are showing interest in the full-back’s services and could offer him an escape route from Etihad in the summer.
Sagna decided to leave Arsenal some nine months ago despite finally lifting the first trophy of his career and he has found it hard to prove his worth at Manchester City.
The Frenchman has, however, kept his place in the national team and started les Bleus’ last fixture against Sweden.
