Nuri Sahin rued Borussia Dortmund’s “weakest performance of the season” in their 1-1 draw with Hoffenheim.
Dortmund saw their winless streak across all competitions extend to four matches, after they were pegged back in stoppage time at Signal Iduna Park.
The hosts were on course for all three points after Giovanni Reyna’s early second-half strike, but ex-Dortmund winger Jacob Bruun Larsen came back to haunt his former club with a 91st-minute equaliser for the visitors.
Sahin’s side registered just six shots compared to Hoffenheim’s 12, with an xG of 0.5 to their opponents’ 0.99.
And the Dortmund head coach could not hide his frustration with his players’ performance.

“I am not satisfied at all,” he told reporters. “A very weak performance, maybe the weakest performance of the season.
“The goal did us good, but only for a short period. But still you need to defend it until then, and then we ended up dropping two valuable points.”
Dortmund play their final match of 2024 away at Wolfsburg on Sunday.
The Black and Yellow have yet to win any of their six Bundesliga games on the road this season, losing four and drawing two.
