(GSM) – Borussia Dortmund midfielder Nuri Sahin has rubbished speculation linking him with a move to Bayern München.
Following a series of spectacular displays which has seen Dortmund’s meteoric rise to the top of the Bundesliga, rumours have surfaced that contact between him and Bayern for a possible transfer.
However, he insists his future lies with the Westphalians and dismissed reports to the contrary.
“I have heard about it from the newspapers, just like everybody else,” he told Sat.1 television. “But I know nothing about it. I am staying in Dortmund.”
It had been reported that the 22-year-old had a clause in his contract enabling him to leave next summer for a fee of just €6 million.
However, that is also nonsense, according to Sahin, whose deal with Dortmund runs until 2013.
“Somebody has the wrong information,” he said after his side’s 1-1 draw against Paris St Germain in the Europa League.
