According to The London Evening Standard, West Ham United are interested in signing Said Benrahma from Brentford before the summer transfer window closes on October 16. It has been reported that Felipe Anderson could still move to FC Porto, and that the Hammers are likely to target the Brentford star as a replacement.
Benrahma is one of the best attacking players in the Championship and has been a key figure at Brentford for the past two seasons. The 25-year-old Algeria international can operate as a winger or as a forward, and he scores goals and creates chances for his teammates.
According to WhoScored, Benrahma has played 39 minutes in the Championship for Brentford so far this season. During the 2019-20 campaign, the attacker scored 17 goals and provided nine assists in 46 league games, while in the 2019-20 season, he scored 10 goals and provided 14 assists in 38 league appearances, according to WhoScored.
