Bukayo Saka shared news of his return to training on Thursday in a boost to Arsenal’s season.

“Hello again,” wrote the England international on his Instagram page alongside a picture of a smiling Saka in his Arsenal training kit.

Saka has been out of action since tearing his hamstring against Crystal Palace in December.

Victory in that match left Arsenal just three points off the top of the Premier League table, albeit having played two games more than Liverpool.

In Saka’s absence, the Gunners have earned just 25 points from 12 matches, with Liverpool taking 34 points from 14 games.

Arsenal have also lost fellow attackers Kai Havertz and Gabriel Jesus to injuries and exited both the FA Cup and EFL Cup.

Crucially, however, Mikel Arteta’s men remain in the Champions League, with Saka now in line to play in a quarter-final double-header against Real Madrid next month.

Indeed, BBC Sport reported on Thursday that Saka could even make his return in Arsenal’s next game against Fulham on Tuesday.
