Sakho set for Liverpool exit

Talksport understands that Liverpool will listen to offers for Mamadou Sakho when the transfer window reopens.

The France international has fallen out of favour under Reds’ boss Jurgen Klopp and is yet to make a senior appearance this season, playing twice in the U23s.

He hasn’t even been named in any of Liverpool’s match day squads since he scored in the 4-0 win over Merseyside rivals Everton at Anfield back in April.

Since signing from Paris Saint Germain in the summer of 2013 the twenty-six year old has racked up seventy-nine appearances in all competitions, scoring three times.

He has been capped twenty-eight times for his country, scoring twice and was part of their squad for the 2014 World Cup finals in Brazil.

Liverpool beat Tottenham Hotspur in the fifth round of the EFL Cup on Tuesday evening and are now 7/2 favourites to win the competition.
