Sky Sports understands that Diafra Sakho is still determined to leave West Ham United.
The Senegal international saw a proposed move to Rennes collapse on transfer deadline day despite completing a medical with the Ligue 1 side and he has told a French journalist that he is still keen to move on.
Sakho moved to West Ham in the summer of 2014 and had a fine opening season with the club scoring twelve goals in twenty-six appearances while he has netted just eleven since.
He has started just two league games since the start of last season, and moved further down the pecking order in the summer following the arrivals of Marko Arnautovic and Javier Hernandez though he did score the only goal of the game as the Hammers beat Swansea City last month.
Slaven Bilic’s side head to Wembley on Wednesday evening in the EFL Cup, and are priced at 6/1 to beat Tottenham Hotspur.
