Aston Villa are set to make a move for Wolverhampton Wanderers winger Bakary Sako, according to the Metro.
The 26 year old, who has also been linked with a move to fellow West Midlands outfit West Bromwich Albion in recent months, is out of contract in the summer.
He moved to Molinuex in the summer of 2012, and has since racked up one hundred and twenty-two appearances in all competitions, scoring thirty-seven goals.
His fourteen league strikes so far this season have helped keep Kenny Jackett’s men in the hunt or a play-off place with just two games left to play.
They currently sit in eighth place in the second tier, three points behind Ipswich Town who occupy the final play-off position.
Relegation threatened Wigan Athletic are their next opponents, with the sides set to meet at the DW Stadium on Saturday afternoon and the away win can be backed at 5/4.
