Roma have completed the permanent signings of Mohamed Salah and Edin Dzeko, according to the Express.

The pair moved to the Stadio Olimpico in the summer on loan deals from Chelsea and Manchester City respectively, though having met contractual obligations meaning that permanent deals could be agreed.

Salah has scored three goals in six Serie A appearances for Rudi Garcia’s side so far having enjoyed a successful loan spell at fellow Italian top flight outfit Fiorentina last season.

Dzeko has just one goal since leaving Manchester, netting in the 2-1 home win over champions Juventus back in August.

Having won for the first time in three league games last Saturday, Roma head in to Sunday’s match at Palermo in sixth place, four points behind leaders Fiorentina.

However, they are six ahead of champions Juventus and are favourites to win what would be their first title since 2001 at a price 9/4.
