Il Corriere dello Sport understands that Chelsea winger Mohamed Salah has set his sights on joining AS Roma.
The Blues are ready to cash in on the Egyptian following his impressive stint with Fiorentina and everything suggests the highly rated footballer will remain in Italian Serie A.
While Viola would like to extend his loan spell for another year, Chelsea would rather sell Salah outright and it appears that AS Roma have emerged as favourites for his signature.
The winger is tempted by the Giallorossi’s offer of a four-year deal worth €3 million per campaign and he is ready to move to Stadio Olimpico provided the two clubs can agree on the transfer fee.
The latest reports suggest that Chelsea are holding out for €23 million, although they would consider letting Salah leave on a season-long loan with an option to buy.
Salah did really well to kick-start his career at Fiorentina, scoring 9 goals in 26 competitive outings.
