Roma are readying summer bid for Lille striker Salomon Kalou, Il Corriere dello Sport has revealed on Monday.
The Giallorossi are looking to add another forward to their ranks, but their primary targets Juan Manuel Iturbe and Alessio Cerci are likely to prove too expensive.
It is for that reason that Roma officials are turning their attention to Lille star Salomon Kalou, who could leave les Dogues in the summer.
Seeing as how the former Chelsea starlet shouldn’t cost more than €8 million, boss Rudi Garcia has instructed sporting director Walter Sabatini to make a move on the Ivorian forward.
Salomon Kalou, 28, has managed to kick-start his career in France, having scored a total of 30 goals in 66 Ligue 1 outings for les Dogues.
He remains a very important player for the Ivory Coast national team, with the Elephants priced at 10/11 to progress from Group C that also includes Colombia, Japan and Greece.
