Lille forward Salomon Kalou could soon return to the English Premier League, according to L’Equipe.
The highly rated winger, who joined les Dogues on a free transfer from Chelsea in the summer, has had a pretty disappointing start to his career in France.
After scoring just 2 goals in 12 Ligue 1 appearances, the Ivorian has been asked to search for a new club.
Lille officials do not believe his performances are in accordance with his hefty wage, €2 million per campaign, and plan to cash in on the player in January.
L’Equipe understands that QPR have expressed interest in signing the forward who has a contract until June 2016 at Grand Stade Lille Metropole.
Rangers are largely struggling in the attacking department and could really use someone of Kalou’s quality and experience in the battle for Premiership survival.
Prior to joining Lille, Kalou scored 37 goals in 155 Premier League appearances for Chelsea.
