Bundesliga outfit Wolfsburg are keeping close tabs on Lille striker Salomon Kalou, reports L’Equipe.
The Ivorian is almost certain to be sold this summer as the club want to get rid of his hefty wage bill, but they have yet to receive a concrete offer for the experienced footballer.
According to L’Equipe, German giants Wolfsburg are showing interest and they could come up with an official proposal in the coming days.
The Wolves are still short of quality up front despite signing Nicklas Bendtner from Arsenal, and they hope to agree a cut-price deal for the Ivory Coast international.
Salomon Kalou, 29, has thoroughly enjoyed his spell with les Dogues, having bagged 30 goals in 67 Ligue 1 outings.
The former Chelsea starlet has also been linked with a return to English Premier League and it remains to be seen where he will end up.
After losing to Porto in the first leg of the Champions League play-offs, Lille are 5/1 to win at Estadio do Dragao.
