Spanish media outlet Estadio Deportivo understands that Paris Saint-Germain goalkeeper Salvatore Sirigu is determined to leave Sevilla by the end of the January transfer window.
The experienced shot-stopper joined los Rojiblancos on loan in the summer hoping to secure regular playing time, but he has since been playing second fiddle to Sergio Rico.
And having featured in just two La Liga matches since arriving to Andalucia, Sirigu wants out this January.
The Italian has no plans to return to Parc des Princes, where Alphonse Areola and Kevin Trapp are vying for the starting berth, but the problem is there are no clubs interested in his signature.
His high wage demands (€3m per year) have proved a major obstacle to any deal, with Nice recently pulling out of the deal for the Italian.
Meanwhile, Sevilla continue to impress in Spanish La Liga and they can be backed at 16/1 to lift the La Liga trophy this season.
