Competition: Scottish Premiership
Market: Sam Cosgrove to score anytime
Odds: 7/4 @ Bet 365
Appearing to refind their form, Aberdeen will welcome relegation contenders Dundee to Pittodrie on Tuesday night.
Starting with Derek McInnes’ Aberdeen side, while it hasn’t been the brightest start for the Dons’, they enter Tuesday’s matchup just three points adrift of Rangers at the top of the table. Picking up a 1-0 win away at Ibrox last month, the Reds have now won three of their last four Premiership matchups. One man to watch for the hosts will be leading goalscorer Sam Cosgrove. While the 22-year-old had his struggles at the start of the season, the Dons’ forward now has two in his last two and should be feeling confident of extending on that tally.
As for the visitors, coming off the back of a 3-1 loss away at Kilmarnock last week, Jim McIntyre’s side now see just their goal difference keeping them above St. Mirren at the bottom of the table. With many tipping Dundee to be the leading contender in the relegation race, it will be their form on the road that should be the biggest concern. Along with recording just one clean sheet since the end of September, they have managed to win just one of their last eight matches away from Kilmac Stadium at Dens Park. With their confidence at a low, we expect Cosgrove to capitalize on Tuesday.
