(GSM) – Greece forward Georgios Samaras wants to finish in second place in the World Cup Group B.
The Celtic star expects Argentina to come out on top and admits Greece will be battling with South Korea and Nigeria for the runners-up spot.
“I think Argentina will be easy group winners,” he said.
“For the rest there are three countries, Nigeria, South Korea and us, who are around the same level and will fight for the second place. It’s an open group for second place and we must be realistic.”
“I am proud I am going to represent my country and Celtic at the World Cup and I just want to go there and enjoy the experience,” the 25-year-old former Manchester City player explained.
“I know it’s difficult for a country to reach the World Cup again so that’s the reason I must enjoy it now. It only happens every four years and I know I might not go to a World Cup again.”
