Premier League outfit Everton are pondering a surprise move for former Arsenal and Manchester City midfielder Samir Nasri.
The 31-year-old former French international is two months away from seeing his drugs ban expire and will be available on a free transfer during winter.
Everton manager Marco Silva is believed to be thinking about a possibility of bringing Nasri back to England.
The two-time Premier League winner enjoyed his best football days in the Premier League and is said to be open to a return.
Nasri has been without a club since January when he left the Turkish side Antalyaspor and is currently serving a ban after receiving an intravenous treatment at an LA clinic in 2016. Nasri was initially banned for six months but the suspension was later on increased to 18.
Everton believe Nasri would add a creative spark in the centre of the pitch and will be looking to bring him to Goodison for the second part of the season.
