Once dubbed the Balkan Cruyff, Serbia’s Filip Djuricic never quite managed to live up to his moniker.
The 24-year-old winger has changed no less than six clubs in the last four years having been sent on numerous loans away from his club Benfica.
Mainz 05, Southampton, Anderlecht and now Sampdoria appear not to be convinced with Djuricic’s qualities as his future remains in limbo ahead of another transfer window.
Filip Djuricic has managed only 19 minutes on the pitch in his two Serie A appearances for the Blucerchiati this season, while he spent ten games watching from the bench.
Sampdoria president Massimo Ferrero has travelled to Portugal this week together with Djuricic’s agent Fali Ramadani to discuss the future of hte 24-year-old winger, Portugal media outlet Abola has reported.
Ramadani is thought to have a number of offers for his client and it remains to be seen if Djuricic could be in for yet another change of scenery when the transfer window reopens this winter.
