Samuel Inkoom hints at Liverpool deal

Dnipro full-back Samuel Inkoom has revealed that he is on the verge of a move to Liverpool.

The Ghana international is also followed by Chelsea, but he has now revealed that he is close to reaching an agreement with the Reds.

“My agent is still locked in talks with my club and a scout of Liverpool and very soon a deal could be concluded,” Inkoom told Ghanian Top Radio.

“Liverpool is one of the biggest names in football and so if everything goes well and the Lord allows it, everyone will see where I am going and hopefully, it will be Liverpool, which will be a big step up for me.”

The 22-year-old has made a name for himself at Basel, before joining Ukrainian side Dnipro in a £4.6 million deal in January.

However, it seems that the player has done enough to earn himself a move to one of the biggest European clubs.
