Samuel looking forward to the Derby d’Italia

Inter defender Walter Samuel is looking forward to their clash against Juventus in the Derby d’Italia on Saturday.

Samuel is expected to start the game against the Old Lady.

“It will be a great game and we are taking on a side in excellent form who have just won seven consecutive games,” Samuel told Il Corriere dello Sport.

“We have a few players missing, such as Ivan Cordoba, but I am sure that whoever replaces him will do the job well.

“Amauri is an incredible striker with great instincts in front of goal. He is good at making runs behind the defence and he works very hard.

“Alessandro Del Piero will be a threat. Julio Cesar will need to watch out for his free-kicks because he is a talisman for Italian football.”
