The Argentinian title is up for grabs as leaders San Lorenzo were held to a 3-3 draw at Newell’s Old Boys on Saturday.

San Lorenzo had a great start as Barrientos scored in the 7th and 13th minutes to give the visitors a quick 0-2 lead.

Fabbiani got one back close to the hour mark but Gonzales converted a spot kick eight minutes later to restore the gap.

Newell’s kept attacking though and Vangioni made it 2-3 with ten minutes to go. Four minutes later, Re netted the equaliser.

San Lorenzo now share the top spot with CA Tigre, who beat Godoy Cruz Antonio Tomba 2-0 with Morel scoring both goals.

Both sides have 30 points from 15 games, and Boca Juniors now have a chance to surpass the two leaders when they host Velez Sarsfield on Sunday.
