Sanches in the dark over Bayern absence

According to a recent report from Sport Bild, Renato Sanches has revealed that Bayern Munich manager Niko Kovac has yet to explain to him why he hasn’t been featuring in the club’s first team setup lately. It’s been almost a month since the 21 year old midfielder made an appearance, with question marks still being present as to why that is. Sanches is considered to be one of the brightest young Portuguese stars of the modern era, but his loan spell at Swansea City back in 2017 and 2018 hit him hard in terms of his stock.

His best days came during his time with Benfica back in Portugal, where he was able to prove why he’s so highly thought of.

If Sanches continues to spend lots of time outside of the starting XI for Bayern, then there’s a good chance we could see some movement for him during the upcoming summer transfer window.
